Their Client:IMAX
Project:Zombie Rally at THE BLOCK AT ORANGE
Staffing Needs:25 Actors
Date(s):September 10th 2010
Location(s):THE BLOCK AT ORANGE, Orange, CA

Promotion Overview:

THA came to us looking for a few dozen male actors to pull-off a publicity stunt for the premiere of Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D at the AMC 30 IMAX theaters. They needed tall, slender males who would be dressed up in full makeup & attire to resemble characters in the popular movie franchise. These "promotional zombies" would storm the outdoor mall, THE BLOCK AT ORANGE, and create a scene for mall consumers, radio stations, and local media in attendance. Sounded fun to us!

Marketing Results

If getting 25 promotional actors to all arrive at a central location in THE BLOCK AT ORANGE by 3pm on a Friday sounds easy, trust us, it's not. An actor showing up late was not an option, make-up and the press schedule made for a strict call-time. Car troubles and sick grandmothers would have to happen some other day. Thanks to outstanding communication between the staff booker & the actors (and a little luck), all zombies were in make-up and ready to go on-time. They stormed the mall right on schedule, causing all the commotion and excitement they could, and delivering on the media & consumer impact the client desired.
